The parents of the candidates who are provisionally selected for admission in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Exam 2023 Class 6 will have to submit the following documents at the time of admission for verification.

1. Proof for date of birth -The copy of Birth Certificate issued by competent Government Authority concerned. (जन्म तिथि के लिए प्रमाण -संबंधित सक्षम सरकारी प्राधिकरण द्वारा जारी जन्म प्रमाण पत्र की प्रति संबंधित।)

2. Proofs for eligibility as per the conditions of NVS. (NVS की शर्तों के अनुसार पात्रता के लिए प्रमाण।)

3. For candidates seeking admission under rural quota, the parents will also have to submit a certificate from the competent authority to the effect that the child had studied class III, IV and V in an Institution/ School located in a rural area.

4. Residence Certificate: The valid residential proof (as notified Govt. of India) of the parent of the same District where the JNV is located & candidate has studied class V shall be furnished.

5. Aadhar Card of the candidate: As per section 7 of Aadhaar act, 2016, the provisionally selected candidate has to submit the copy of Aadhaar Card to get the benefits such as boarding & lodging, assistance for stationeries and other benefits under the Navodaya Vidyalaya Scheme.

6. Certificate by the Headmaster of the school regarding study details. (अध्ययन विवरण के बारे में स्कूल के हेडमास्टर द्वारा प्रमाण पत्र।)

7. Medical fitness certificate. (मेडिकल फिटनेस सर्टिफिकेट।)

8. Undertaking for Migration (प्रवासन के लिए उपक्रम)

9. Disability certificate (if applicable) (विकलांगता प्रमाणपत्र (यदि लागू हो))

10. Category/community certificate (SC/ST) if applicable. (यदि लागू हो तो श्रेणी/सामुदायिक प्रमाण पत्र (SC/ST)

Note: – The TC from parent school after the verification of documents and confirmation of admission by the respective JNV is to be submitted after getting counter signature of District Education Authorities (DEO/BEO etc.)
